Nicole Carries the Givenchy Nightingale

I'm not sure how it happened, but somehow the Givenchy Nightingale tote has become the new 'it' bag, and there's nary a celebrity that has escaped its irresistible clutches. Nicole Richie was seen carrying while out shopping (presumably for baby things) with boyfriend Joel Madden. I honestly don't think it's that attractive, but I might think differently if I had received it for free.

Cartier Marcello: The New It Bag?

Cartier is best known for its luxe timepieces and jewelry, but the established jeweler has now decided to venture into the market of high-end handbags, beginning with the brand new Marcello bag. It comes in 3 sizes and 6 different color (including a zebra print pony skin). It's brand new but stars like Julianne Moore have already been photographed carrying what could be the new "it" bag. However, if that happens the Marcello bag would certainly be a different kind of "it" bag. It's far more elegant than anything distributed by Balenciaga or Prada. It's possible that the classic subtlety might alienate the celebutantes that might have carried the purse. In fact, I'm not sure If I would wear it.
